This page explains what we collect when you buy from us, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, delivery address, pincode, mobile number and email
- What you ordered and what you paid
- Basic technical information your browser sends, such as device type
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password. Payments happen inside Razorpay's own secure window. We only receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, and a payment reference number.
Why we collect it
- To pack and deliver your order
- To send you order updates and tracking
- To answer your questions and handle returns
- To keep the accounts and tax records the law requires us to keep
Who we share it with
Only with the people who need it to complete your order:
- Razorpay, to take the payment
- Our courier partner, to deliver your parcel
- Our accountant and the tax authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell your details to anyone. We do not pass your number to marketers.
Emails from us
We email you about your order. If you sign up for our batch mail, you can unsubscribe from any of those mails and we will stop.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires. Other details are kept only while they are useful for serving you.
Your choices
Write to earthvedaorganic@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will act within 30 days. We may need to keep invoice records even after deletion, because tax law requires it.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS and payments run through Razorpay, which is PCI DSS compliant. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care of what you give us.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
